In 2004, the Kingston Frontenac Public Library (KFPL) undertook a Branch Services Review, followed by a Branch Services Master Plan and a community consultation in 2010. The current hours of operation at our branches were chosen using feedback we received during those projects.
KFPL’s mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of everyone in Kingston-Frontenac. In order to do that, we want to make sure that the hours at each of our branches continue to meet the needs of our communities. That’s why we’re reviewing the hours of operation at all 16 KFPL locations.
Community feedback was gathered through a survey, and was considered alongside the visitor and borrowing data to craft hours of operation that meet as many community needs as possible.
