The Pop-up Library service is now over.
The library is providing pop-up library service in North Kingston. This service will remain in place until the new Rideau Heights Branch opens in the Rideau Heights Community Centre in early 2018. The pop-up library offers services such as reservations pick-up and internet access. There is also a small browsing collection of books and DVDs and patrons are able to borrow and return materials. Look for our branded mini-van and friendly staff at the following locations:
Kingston Police Headqarters, 705 Division Street, Mondays 2:00-4:00pm
Rideau Heights Public School, 77 MacCauley Street, Mondays 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesdays 6:00-8:00pm and Saturdays 10:00am-12:00pm
Memorial Centre, 303 York Street, Wednesdays 10:00am -12:00pm and Saturdays 2:00-4:00pm
We held two public drop-in sessions at the Kingscourt Branch in early 2017 to gather feedback on pop-up library service. An online and paper survey was also conducted. A summary of the survey results is available.
