In order to fund its strategic priorities for the 2019-2022 term, City of Kingston Council approved the deferral of $57 million in capital projects at the May 21, 2019 Council meeting. The expansion and renovation of the Pittsburgh Branch is one of the identified projects and has been deferred past 2022.
The Kingston Frontenac Public Library will continue to work with the City of Kingston to move forward on remedial work on the historic cottage.
