Third Crossing work is starting on the east side of the Cataraqui River. To prepare for this work, Point St. Mark Drive has been closed at Gore Road. This closure will last for the duration of construction, which is expected to be approximately 3 years. Pedestrian access will be maintained from Point St. Mark Drive to the Pittsburgh Branch library and vehicles are still able to access the main library parking lot off Gore Road.
Library staff are working closely with the Third Crossing team to minimize disruption to library users during the construction. Regular updates are being posted on the Third Crossing website, and as work ramps up, updates will be available in the library as well.
