Kingston Frontenac Public Library (KFPL) began consultation on its Code of Conduct Policy in the summer of 2024. Engagement activities in the summer and fall focused on gathering ideas and suggestions from the community to create a policy that helps promote the safety, dignity, and intellectual freedom of library patrons and staff, as well as the security of library property. An updated policy was approved at the November 27, 2024 Library Board Meeting. The newly titled Library Use and Conduct Policy [PDF 76 kb] will come into effect March 31, 2025.
